Alternate Viewpoints
Many people within the Episcopal Church USA (ECUSA), the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, and our own parish of St. Peter's, Ashtabula are concerned about the direction that the Episcopal Church is going, particularly in the wake of various decisions made at ECUSA's 2003 General Convention in Minneapolis.
As we head toward the June 2006 General Convention in Columbus, Ohio, we would like to offer some additional viewpoints on the many controversial issues at hand for the Episcopal Church, including the move away from the authority of Scripture and issues around human sexuality. Several of the many orthodox Episcopal/Anglican resources are available below, including the American Anglican Council, the Anglican Communion Network, and Anglicans United.
Official viewpoints of the diocese and our national church are available on our web site's main menu link to the Diocese of Ohio, which links to the national ECUSA web site. ECUSA's web site in turn links to its Episcopal News Service.
